What’s news?

2007 is sure to be a milestone year for Alutech. We are bursting to tell you all the latest from the Alutech stable. But, Mr Alutech himself, Jürgen, has told us to keep quiet a little while longer. However, we can tell you this much:
Currently our team rider Tom Stemplinger is putting the Slope Pudel through its paces in testing.

Have an oodle at the pudel!

It’s a little difficult to get in touch with Tom, his answer phone is on permanently and he’s always out riding; come to think of it, he’s never ridden so much. Strange!

Anyway we are reliably informed that the Pudel is an absolutely awesome ride!
We’ll update you as soon as we can get Tom to sit down long enough to answer our questions.

Watch this space for more details and a launch date.

February 2007

May 23rd 2006 - South Tirolian Cancer Help
Alutech Italy and Gargazon athlete Robert Ladurner support the South Tirolian Cancer Help with a special fund raiser:

On May 13th Robert starts a 940 meter mountain run from Gargazon to Vöran. Upon arrival in Vöran Robert transfers to a Wildsau Hardride built for him and head back downhill.

What kind of a record ist that, you might ask...?

Simple, Robert did that nine times in 12 hours!!

On all nine descends Robert was supportet by Alutech's Italian downhill team.
The event was hosted by the charming president of local parliament Veronika Stirner. Here the local kids had the opportunity to testride Alutech bikes.

All funds from the event as well as the money from the sale of Roberts Hardride was donated to the South Tirolian Cancer Help.

We thank Robert Ladurner and Reinhard Schwienbacher our Italien distributor for their efforts and for coming up with the event.

Red Bull storms the fortress
ALUTECH TEAMfahrer Elias Somvi from Italy was lucky and was allowed to replace the fallen Austrian downhill pilot at Red Bull Conquering Fortezza event on October 01. 2005 and rode to a stunning forth rank overall. In his final run he beat the current junior vice worldchampion Brendan Fairclough, finishing in a time only 0.7 seconds slower than the days best.

We salute his achievement!
