New logo and graphic for 2008

Many of you will have seen that the new frames which have been coming out of the Alutech stable since the spring are complete with the new logo/text design.
We feel that these new designs fit perfectly to the progress we have made over recent months and reflect the mood of the Alutech crew.
We are currently building up the range of fan articles, including t-shirts and stickers with the new logo/text so please make sure to visit this site to keep up to date.

Oh, and a word on the previous logo; we still have a limited number of fan articles left with the previous Wildsau logo, so move fast before they are gone for ever!

07.05.2007:

A successful trip to the Bikefestival on Lake Garda

We’ve been putting our new bike through her paces on the trails around Lake Garda.
Our, as yet unnamed, new freeride frame will soon take its rightful place amongst our other models.
As you can see from the photograph the inspiration is drawn from the Keiler and the Hardride. Such a combination has allowed us to break new ground.

Here are some hard facts for starters: There is almost 200mm of travel and you can still use a front mech. You have a lower and more central centre of gravity due to the sunken shock position. Through the refinement of the linkage the bike remains both stable and responsive enough over rocks and still further, the bike has plenty in reserve for the big drops.

Our prototype weighed in at 3.6kg (without shock) and we expect the production model to be around 3.4 kg (size m, without shock).

The price is not yet fixed, but keep checking this site for more details soon.

Alutech is proud to present ‘The Diva’, the world’s latest development in hydraulic mountain bike braking. The Diva is the culmination of years of intelligence gathering and months of development.

The Diva, as you would expect looks hot! With these babies providing the braking power the mintiest bike has just got a whole lot mintier.

Down to details? Okay – It was crucial that you could ride the brakes as left-hand or right-hand brake, so The Diva has a grip that flips over left to right and back again!
Power comes from either a 4 piston version or a refined slimmed down 2 piston version.
Will it fit? Post-mount and adaptors are catered for. It makes no difference if you have IS 2000, RS Boxxer or a Fox 40 up front, The Diva is there for you!
Quality? The Diva is the ultimate in high-end braking performance. Aircraft aluminium and titanium is standard throughout. The lever has been ergonomically designed to cradle the fingers.

Check out our mini-presentation.Oh, but sorry boys and girls you are going to have form an orderly queue because The Diva is being put through her paces by our team riders before being let loose sometime sooner rather than later.

19.02.2007:
The Alutech Cockpit is complete
We are delighted to announce that the Alutech stem is now on the market. Complementing perfectly the Alutech bar, this high end stem is available for both 1 1/8 and 1,5 forks and comes in 60mm and 75mm lengths made for 31,8mm bars.

What’s news?

2007 is sure to be a milestone year for Alutech. We are bursting to tell you all the latest from the Alutech stable. But, Mr Alutech himself, Jürgen, has told us to keep quiet a little while longer. However, we can tell you this much:
Currently our team rider Tom Stemplinger is putting the Slope Pudel through its paces in testing.

Have an oodle at the pudel!

It’s a little difficult to get in touch with Tom, his answer phone is on permanently and he’s always out riding; come to think of it, he’s never ridden so much. Strange!

Anyway we are reliably informed that the Pudel is an absolutely awesome ride!
We’ll update you as soon as we can get Tom to sit down long enough to answer our questions.

Watch this space for more details and a launch date.
